Friday food diary

Forgot to weigh in this morning so we’ll do the weekly weigh in update tomorrow i’m hoping to loose around a pound, for some reason I’ve stayed the same for the last couple of weeks do aren’t expecting a big loss.

Thursday food diary

Yesterday was a good day food-wise until we got to Lakeside. Taco Bell happened.
Still i enjoyed it, it was tasty, i’m not overly bothered. Today i was supposed to weigh in, but i stayed at the boyfriends and don’t want to use his scales. (they always tell me i weigh less!)

i’m gonna go for a red day today.

– Heinz Tomatoe Soup Squeeze & stir (7 syns! – if i’d of known when i was buying i wouldn’t of  bothered!)

– Hoping to have oven roasted chicken, with roasted veg like what i had on Monday.

Wednesday food diary

Yesterday wasn’t a bad day in reference to staying to my syn allowance, over buy just half!

I’m not sure how today will go, well i know breakfast and lunch will be ok, just dinner. I’m picking up my boyfriend from work and we’re heading over to Lakeside shopping centre as the bottom of my Mac has decided to peel off. Theres a Taco Bell over there. I’d only have the taco salad they do, for some reason there are apparently 770 cals in it (taken from their US site as for some reason they don’t list the calories on the UK site, which is helpful…) surely there can’t be THAT many! i hope not anyway, it’s yummy!

Anyway, back to today, today i’m having a red day.

So yesterday i stuck to plan pretty well, bar the drifter chocolate bar!

This weeks Nails W/C 25th June

I’m hoping to do a weekly nail post starting with today. This weeks nails are a homage with a twist to the popular style that is dip dying things at the moment, hair, clothes, etc.

I used Boots Natural Collection ‘Hibcus’, Barry M ‘Mint’ and Models Own Nail Art Pen.

Here’s a step by Step:

01. Paint your nails in your base coat and allow to dry fully.

02. Pour some of your 2nd colour (I used the mint green) onto a piece of paper and then pour an equal amount of clear polish on top and mix them both together. You don’t need to use the clear polish but I find it makes the polish easier to work with and more transparent, creating a softer gradient.

03. Using a nail art or paintbrush paint a layer of your mixed polishes onto your nail, from the tip to about 50% down the nail. Don’t worry if it’s barely visible, we’re going to build up the layers.

04. Once the first layer has dried, paint another layer on top of the first, this time only covering about 30% of the nail. Apply a few more layers, judging with your eye, until you’re happy with the gradient.

05. You can stop here and apply a top coat, but I love whipping out my Models Own nail art pen and adding some leopard print as a finishing touch!

Monday food diary

So this weekend, if i’m honest i didn’t stick to plan much at all. I had a kebab after the pub on friday, a chinese on saturday, a sausage roll from Greggs on sunday and my boyfriend cooked me a chicken, ham & cheese kiev and onion rings for dinner last night. Not too mention the pints of cider i’ve consumed too.

This week i plan to follow mainly red daysHowever it’s Monday and i’m back on plan.

Breakfast

Exercise
– 12 mins on my new cross trainer! (thats the most i could manage, gonna slowly increase the time to build up to a longer workout)

Friday food diary

So yesterday wasn’t too bad in the way of what i ate. Although dinner was a bit of a write-off. We went out with my boyfriends dad and his wife-to-be. I had a full english with hash browns, i mean i couldn’t just leave them sitting there on the plate could i?! I was good and left the bread and took the fat off the bacon….

Anyway, i’m hoping that today’s better but i guess it again depends on dinner.
I’m also off out tonight for drinks, as its been a LONG week at work this week. I am swapping my usual pint of strongbow and blackcurrent for vodka and coke though. So if i do end up having a kebab i won’t feel as bad!

Yesterday was good, i stayed within my syn allowance for the second day runnning which i’m super pleased about. I did decide yesterday that today i would start the Slimming World ‘Red Days’ diet rather than the extra easy to try and wake my belly up.

But heres to another day of hopefully staying within my syn allowance.

Thursday weigh in (21st June)

This week I stayed the same, 13.2 stone. I’d been following the diet religiously this week too which is a little bit gutting. But it was my TOTM, so perhaps this had something to do with it? I read somewhere that you tend to retain a lot of water, so i hope this is just said water weight.

Guess we’ll see next weekend.

Since I started on slimming world I’ve been on the extra easy diet. So I think to get my stomach to wake up I’m going to try the red days to see if I can finally get into the 12’s.
