Tuesday food diary

Breakfast
– a quarter of the chocolate scan bran cake (HEX B) + 2 syns
– Sugar free flavoured water

Lunch
– Fizzy Vimto sugar free
– Banana
– Tinned pinapple (2.5 syns)
– Lettuce & cucumber
– Salad cream 2 tbl sp (5 syns – didn’t realise how high in syns this was!)
– Ham
– Egg

Dinner
– Smash chicken goujons
– jacket potato with philadelphia garlic and herb (HEX A)
– orange squash
– Ketchup (1.5 syns)

Snacks
– Tuc biscuits x 3 (4.5 syns)

Total Syns 15.5


Slimming World Chocolate Maple Cake Recipe

I tried baking a similar cake before last year, i think it was the curly wurly chocolate cake, it was edible, but it didn’t taste too good. This recipe does.

On all Slimming world plans – 3 syns for a quarter serving of cake OR if your using scan bran as your HEX B its only 6.5 syns for the WHOLE cake!

Ingredients
5 Scan Bran (5 syns)
3 beaten eggs
1 level tbsp of golden syrup (2 syns)
1oz Options Belgium Hot Choc (4.5 syns)
1/4 cup of sweetener
Fry-light

How to make!
– Preheat oven to 200c
– Soak the Scan Bran in boiling water to soften. Drain and mash.
– Mix together the eggs, hot choc, sweetener and syrup.
– Spray a cake tin, round or rectangle whatever you’ve got!
– Bake in the oven for 25-30 mins

After it’s been in the oven for 25 mins
Ready to eat!
